Martin Downes is the Learning and Development Programme Lead at the Wales Co-operative Centre. The Centre is the UK’s largest co-operative development agency, delivering a wide range of services, policy and public affairs work to support the social enterprise sector. Martin leads on all the learning programmes at the Centre, including the Social Enterprise Academy and the Clore Social Leaders Emerging and Experienced leaders streams.
He is the creator of the Hack of Kindness, a hive mind model that has brought together hundreds of people to create fresh ideas, projects and social businesses to tackle social issues, and he is also the founder of the Cambria Fellowship in partnership with Cardiff University.
