The Tech Flex Challenge: Empowering the Next Generation of Welsh Innovators
Do your students have what it takes to solve the world’s biggest challenges with technology? Are you a business ready to inspire, connect, and support the tech leaders of tomorrow?
The Tech Flex Challenge, part of Talent4Tech at Wales Tech Week 2025, is your chance to get involved in an exciting competition that blends creativity, innovation, and real-world impact.
For Schools & Colleges:
Empower your students aged 14–18 to dream big, think creatively, and develop a tech-driven business idea that could change lives.
Teams of 3–5 students will compete in one of three challenge areas:
-Tech for People – Improve lives and communities
-Tech for Performance – Boost efficiency and productivity
-Tech for The Planet – Create solutions for a greener world
Submissions are made via PowerPoint, showcasing:
-A clear business idea and the problem it solves
-How tech plays a role
-Who it’s for and the impact
-Why it’s a great idea
Top teams from each age group (14–16 and 16+) will be invited to pitch their idea live to a panel of expert judges at Talent4Tech, part of Wales Tech Week 2025 – in front of investors, industry leaders, and potential future employers – and be in with a chance of winning a prize!
