Professor Rab (Robin) Scott - Director of Industrial Digitalisation, AMRC.
Rab Scott is the Director of Industrial Digitalisation at the University of Sheffield’s Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC). He has been with the AMRC since it started in 2001, and, after having had a number of roles in the AMRC, is now responsible for the strategic oversight and direction setting for future research and development within the AMRC in the field of digital manufacturing.
Rab is Deputy Chair of the Industrial Advisory Board of ImmerseUK (the UK’s body for immersive technologies), sits on the IET’s Digital Policy Panel and a number of other bodies related to UK manufacturing and is an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Exeter Business School.
